During your MTM® consultation, Dr. Ringer will take impressions of your teeth and gums for your new custom-made clear plastic aligners. Much like tooth bleaching trays, you will be given a series of aligners, anywhere from 11 to 31, that you will replace every week or two depending on your custom made treatment plan.

You will wear your new aligners 20 to 22 hours every day removing them when you brush and floss and when you enjoy a meal.

Because you will not need wire and bracket adjustments as you do for conventional braces, which can be every two weeks, you only need to see Dr. Ringer every six weeks to check on your MTM® treatment.
