Minimal Tooth Movement System

If Dr. Ringer believes that the Minimal Tooth Movement System is right for you, pictures and possibly x-rays will be taken of your mouth so that the MTM® clear plastic aligners can be made according to your individual Minimal Tooth Movement System plan. Once Dr. Ringer has made the final adjustments, you will receive your Minimal Tooth Movement aligners that you will wear between 20 and 22 hours each day. The only time you will need to take out your aligners is when you eat, brush, and floss. Depending on your particular case, you may receive anywhere between 11 and 31 clear plastic aligners that you will swap out as per Dr. Ringers instructions.

Teeth that are tilted, rotated, or misaligned can cause all kinds of problems including gum disease and tooth decay as crooked teeth can make it difficult to brush and floss.

Tilted, rotated and teeth with spaces can all be corrected in as little as six months, unlike conventional braces, which, in some cases, need to be worn for as long as two years. The MTM® system takes between 6 and 18 months on average.
